Douglas has photgraphed for over 200 magazine covers and in countless ads and brochures. They have been placed on numerous stock CD-ROMs with Corbis Images, and has sold as fine art photographs to clients throughout the United States. Douglas has also photographed over 500 weddings, throughout Northern California.
Depending on the subject, Douglas shoots with digital, 35mm 6x7, 6x9 and/or 4x5. Douglas specializes in bringing only the equipment necessary for a location shoot. This requires McGyver-type skills to use props reflectors, light blockers, etc, that he finds on hand. With today's security and carry-on policies, this style of shooting is in demand more now then ever.
